Thee Agency is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized, one-on-one support to an individual with complex medical needs in Newton, NJ.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in helping others live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own home.
This position is ideal for an experienced Home Health Aide (CHHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or nursing professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships and providing individualized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate care in a private home.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers using a manual Hoyer lift.
- Provide support related to tracheostomy care and tube feedings within the caregiver's authorized scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Observe and report changes in the individual's condition.
- Follow individualized care plans and agency guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing in-home care, personal care, or direct support.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs preferred.
- Familiarity with tracheostomy care, feeding tubes, and Hoyer lifts required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- CHHA, CNA, DSP, PCA, LPN, or RN background welcomed.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and attentive to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care.
- Must have a valid driver's license and mode of transportation.
