We are currently seeking a caring and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) in or around Oak Ridge, NJ to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you’ll do more than provide care — you’ll help individuals build confidence, independence, social connections, and everyday life skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities in home and community settings
  • Encouraging independence, self-help skills, and community inclusion
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping
  • Transporting or meeting clients in the community for activities, appointments, and outings
  • Promoting safety, dignity, and emotional well-being at all times
  • Serving as a positive role model and companion
  • Assisting with Person-Centered Plans and goal development
  • Communicating any concerns or changes to management promptly

Paid Training Includes:

  • Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
  • College of Direct Support (CDS) trainings
  • CPR & First Aid
  • Emergency Procedures
What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and professionalism
  • Ability to engage in physical activities
  • Ability to read and write in English
Employment Requirements

Due to the nature of our services, all employees must complete:

  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screening
  • CARI check
  • Central Registry screening
  • Required exclusionary checks
